Snugnote is built so that your notes belong to you. This page explains, in plain words, what Snugnote can see, where your data lives, and what our small servers do.

Where your notes live

Your pages, databases and attachments are saved as files in a folder called Snugnote in your own Google Drive. Snugnote does not keep a copy of your notes on its servers. To make the app faster, your browser keeps a cached copy of files you've opened; it is deleted when you sign out.

What Snugnote can access in your Google account

Snugnote's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We don't sell your data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.

What our servers store

For Premium, we store one small record per subscriber: your Google account ID, your subscription status and plan, and your Stripe customer and subscription IDs. That's all.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, never to Snugnote.

Notion sync (Premium)

When you connect Notion, Notion gives your browser an access token, which stays in your browser. Because Notion doesn't allow its API to be called from web pages, sync requests pass through Snugnote's relay on their way to your browser. The relay doesn't store or log page content. It only reaches the parts of Notion you chose to share, and it can only read, never change, your Notion pages.

Deleting your data

Your notes are files in your Drive, so you can delete the Snugnote folder at any time. You can remove Snugnote's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions and Notion's at Notion → Settings → Connections. To delete your subscription record, cancel in "Manage subscription" and email us.
